In Costa Rica we did a tour of the rain forest canopy. There were 13 "Zip lines" through the
canopy, some were hundreds of feet above the ground and ran for hundreds of yards at high
speed. Braking was done by applying pressure on the cable with the leather you can see on Kim's
right hand. She couldn't even close her eyes as she had to watch the next platform for hand
signals on 'braking'. If you have a broadband connection click here (9 Mb) to see a Zip-Line Video

| 2006 started with new adventures! Back just a day from Las Vegas, we found ourselves
packing for an 11 day cruise. Aruba, Panama, Costa Rica and Grand Cayman on Celebrity's
'Century'. The days at sea were great for catching up on some reading, writing our 2006 goals,
and discussing long term goals. At our stops we snorkeled, zipped, and toured. Check it out! |
