Tropical breezes, beautiful sunset aboard a yacht in Biscayne Bay, Miami, set the
backdrop for the most incredible wedding we could have imagined! Great food and an open bar was
enjoyed by our closest friends and family. As Dave said to me "If the planes are flying, I'll be
there!" Dave and all the other invitees came from Oregon, Nevada, New York, and many other states.
Only Pennsylvania appeared to have problems as Kim's brothers and oldest son had difficulties and
did not attend.
As sunset approached, the Miami skyline formed an unbelievable backdrop for our
wedding. As usual, we unconventionally chose Nora Jones, "Come Away With Me" instead of
the usual "Here Comes the Bride" for our wedding march. The Captain was handsome and
looking elegant in his uniform as he performed the ceremony. When we return from our
honeymoon, you will find many more pictures and video here at the site. Luckily, our
all inclusive resort was barely touched by Ivan so we are headed to Jamaica!
Thank you everyone for making our day so special. We really had a WONDERFUL
time dancing, dinning, and partying and appreciate the effort each of you put forth to come and
participate in this VERY special moment in our lives.
